Gunnersbury Park is a fantastic open space with wonderful gardens and stately home museum to provide the settings for a new monthly 5K and 10K race to take place within the park making it a safe and exciting area to stage these events.
Gunnersbury Park is a park in the London Borough of Hounslow between Acton, Brentford, Chiswick and Ealing, West London, England. Purchased for the nation from the Rothschild family, it was opened to the public by Neville Chamberlain, then Minister of Health, on 21 May 1926.
The park now boasts a new museum and superb cafe open from 8am serving hot and cold drinks and long lunches or lite bites – they do everything perfect to compliment a day in Gunnersbury Park. The park and the cafe are both dog friendly places so ideal to bring your pooch for the jog.
Every finisher will receive a bespoke medal and a goody bag for their running achievements.
We look forward to seeing all the new runners at our 5K and 10K challenges every month.
